Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has taken serious note of the negligence of government doctors in East Godavari and Kakinada districts

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has ordered a full-scale investigation into the doctor who gave expired medicines to a 55-year-old patient at the Rajahmundry Government Hospital, who caused the patient to become seriously ill,

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has ordered a full-scale investigation into the incident in which a female patient, Malleswari, who was 8 months pregnant, lost her life at the Kakinada Government Hospital.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has responded to two consecutive incidents of negligence by doctors and staff in government hospitals.

In an incident at the Kakinada Government General Hospital (GGH), an 8-month pregnant Malleswari from Gadimoga village in Tallarevu mandal lost her life. Although Malleswari was allergic to pantoprazole, had hypertension and diabetes, the PG student was given a Pantap injection on November 20 in the afternoon without taking them into account.

The initial investigation revealed that the patient immediately had fits and then died of cardiac arrest at 10 pm.
The assistant professor’s lack of supervision was also found to be the reason.

Similarly, a 55-year-old patient at the Rajahmundry Government Hospital was given medicines expired by October 2025 on November 8 by the hospital authorities there… the patient who used them became even more ill.

Expressing anger over these two incidents, the Chief Minister ordered higher officials to conduct a full-scale investigation and take action against the medical staff concerned.

The CM instructed the officials to provide assistance to the family of the pregnant woman who died at the Kakinada GGH. The Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure that such incidents do not recur.
