Under the joint leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Andhra Pradesh has received development projects worth ₹13,429 crore – , marking milestones in the state’s economic revival.
The projects include Orvakal and Kopparthi industrial corridors, Sabbavaram-Sheelanagar six-lane highway, Kothavalasa-Vijayanagaram railway line, Pendurthi-Simhachalam flyover and a major power grid transmission line. In addition, new work has begun for the Peeleru-Kaluru highway, Kadapa-Nellore highway expansion, BEL factory in Nimmakuru, Srikakulam-Angul gas pipeline, and IOC gas plant in Chittoor.
Further, the Kothavalasa–Bobbili–Boddavara and Similiguda–Gorapur railway line doubling projects were dedicated to the nation. Collectively, these initiatives have positioned Andhra Pradesh as a magnet for investments, a growing industrial hub and a hub for employment and innovation, said Srinivasa Rao.
Describing Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu as a “visionary leader”, he said that his vision has been proven once again, “just as he brought Microsoft to Hyderabad and changed the face of the city, he is now bringing Google to Visakhapatnam – making it the IT hub of South India.”
He said that the Chief Minister’s decentralized development model has given Andhra Pradesh a unique identity across the country. “Ananthapuram is developing as an aerospace and automobile hub; Kurnool is developing as a drone manufacturing city; Visakhapatnam is on its way to becoming a global IT hub; Kadapa is developing into a steel city; and Amaravati is poised to emerge as a world-class capital. This is the result of a leader who governs with vision and determination,” he commented.
Under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, the coalition government led by Chief Minister Naidu is accelerating development with transparency and purpose. As new projects, investments and jobs are flowing into the state, the Jagan faction, unable to cope with the progress, tries to weave lies out of jealousy. But this malicious propaganda will not mislead the people anymore,” he sternly warned.
Echoing the words of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Srinivasa Rao said, “Only stable governments can attract investments.” He said that coordination between the Centre and the state has created an environment conducive to growth. “This is the true result of the double engine government – stability that enhances development. Marching towards the golden Andhra – Vikshith Bharat toh “With the combined strength of industrial progress, infrastructure expansion, logistics connectivity and employment generation, Andhra Pradesh is laying the foundation for its golden future,” he said.
In Kurnool, where a large crowd attended the Prime Minister Modi Maha Sabha, State Telugu Desam Party President and Gajuwaka MLA Sri Palla Srinivasa Rao said that Rayalaseema will remain a defining chapter in history.
