Rajahmundry Member of Parliament Dr. Daggubati Purandhareshwari has ordered the completion of NH-365BB Upgradation Package-II works within a specific time frame in view of the Godavari Pushkarala.
A review meeting was held at the Rajahmundry Collectorate on Wednesday under the chairmanship of East Godavari District Collector Kirti Chekuri.
MP, said that she herself is taking the responsibility of coordinating the necessary permissions, technical approvals and release of funds on behalf of the Central Government.She said that if any changes and additions need to be made, proposals should be prepared accordingly.
She suggested that the state government, district administration and project agencies should work in the same direction to expedite the project. The construction of the 44.845 km road from Buttaigudem to LND Peta to Pattisam to Kovvur under Package-II is very necessary for the people, especially in the upcoming Pushkaram season, she said.
She said that the road construction should be completed quickly with quality and standards. She suggested that the NH department should be ready to conduct a daily review if necessary.
The Collector said, that the process of acquiring the required 74.055 acres of land in East Godavari district, which is part of Package-II, is being expedited.
She said that the district administration is increasing its supervision to ensure that all aspects such as technical permissions, environmental permissions, and riverside construction permissions are received on time. MLAs and officials of the respective constituencies participated in the program.
