Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that AP will become a gateway for international investments. He said that Andhra Pradesh will attract 120 billion dollars of investments in the coming year. The CM clarified that policies have been formulated in the state accordingly.

He said that he will be the coordinator for the investment projects coming to the state. He clarified that Andhra Pradesh has immense opportunities for investment in various sectors like oil, gas, food processing, mining, tourism and hospitality along with its long coastline.

On Wednesday, Chief Minister Chandrababu attended the Investopia Global AP 2025 conference of the United Arab Emirates in Vijayawada along with UAE Minister of Finance and Tourism Abdullah bin Tawq Al Marri.

Strategically located on the east coast, AP is a bridge between North and South India, the CM said.  The CM commented that he had invited UAE Minister Abdullah bin Toukh Al Marri to visit other places in India only after visiting AP…To this extent, he thanked Abdullah for organizing the Investopia conference in Vijayawada, AP.

The Chief Minister said that despite its disadvantages and challenges, the rulers there have turned Dubai into a tourist paradise.

He said that the UAE provides extensive opportunities to Indians, and Indians are also providing services to that country. The CM said that if a $ 100 billion trade is done between India and the UAE in 2024-25, $ 1.5 billion of it will be done from AP.

He said that steps have been taken to ensure that all governance in Andhra Pradesh is done online, just like in the UAE. He said that currently 550 civil services are being provided through WhatsApp governance. He said that AP is currently a state that is using technology on a large scale.

The CM assured that the state government will take responsibility from the moment the investment is considered until the permissions are received. He said that the Chief Minister’s Office will directly monitor the issue of permissions. The Chief Minister said that the Ease of Doing-Speed of Doing Business being implemented in Andhra Pradesh can be tested.

He said that the near future belongs to the green energy sector. AP will also become a key partner in the domestic target of 5 gigawatts of production. He said that there are wide opportunities for green hydrogen and ammonia exports in Visakhapatnam and Kakinada regions.

He said that AP will be the first green hydrogen valley in the country. He said that a one-year action plan has also been prepared in this regard.

He said that a special flight service will soon be started from Amaravati for those going to Mecca for Hajj. On the other hand, the CM asked that international shopping mall brands like Lulu are setting up malls in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada and should also set up one in Amaravati soon.

On the other hand, in the presence of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdullah bin Toukh Al Marri, AP Economic Development Board and UAE Investment signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for investment.
