Telugu Desam Party (TDP) state president and Gajuwaka TDP MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao said at the Forbes India–We Serve India Season 2 (South & West Zone Awards) ceremony
The event, jointly organised by Lions Clubs International, Forbes India and Network 18, was attended by Union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma and ten finalists selected from the southern and western regions of the country.
Chandrababu Naidu as a leader who has elevated the cultural values   of “service”, and said reforms like smart governance, digital transparency and public accountability are key features of participatory democracy.
He said that this governance has further enhanced public participation and enhanced trust between the people and the administration.
Looking at the challenges of nature, recurring weather events – cyclones, erratic rainfall and rising sea levels – remind humanity of its delicate relationship with nature.
Harmonious coexistence with the environment “Under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, the government is moving towards the goal of a green Andhra Pradesh,” Srinivas Rao said.
Mentioning the role of education in women empowerment and rural transformation, he said that Self Help Groups have helped women achieve economic independence, while initiatives like Smart Village-Smart Ward are revitalizing rural life through improved infrastructure and a renewed community spirit.
He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national initiatives – Swachh Bharat, Digital India and Make in India – for instilling a sense of service and civic consciousness among citizens.
Union Minister Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Verma has praised the grassroots who are working as an inspiration to the society, saying that public participation is essential for national development.
Verma said that the real strength of modern India lies in the confluence of environmental consciousness, women empowerment and technological innovation.

With Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a sustainable India, the Union government is implementing comprehensive measures to promote sustainable growth, said Verma.
