In some parts of society, gender discrimination against women still exists there needs to be a change in attitude so that work is divided equally without any distinction between men and women. Teachers have the responsibility of shaping students into responsible future citizens of India.

Andhra Pradesh State Women’s Commission Chairperson (Cabinet Rank) Dr. Ravipati Shailaja clarified that society has the responsibility to provide a safe and stress-free environment for women in every workplace.
Speaking in Rajahmundry this morning, she said that today’s women are showcasing their talent and playing a crucial role in all fields.
She suggested that women have to balance both family and work responsibilities, and therefore, family members and colleagues in the workplace should provide them with full support.
She stated that women should be fully aware of their rights and the benefits they are entitled to. She said that women teachers should not only teach the curriculum but also guide students on how to bravely face the problems they encounter in real life.
She suggested that while gender discrimination is still visible in some parts of society, the mindset should change to ensure equal division of work without any distinction between men and women.
She said that teachers have the responsibility of shaping students into responsible future citizens of India, and therefore, they should teach not only education but also moral values. Similarly, she said that women need to increase their awareness of financial literacy, and teachers should encourage students to develop leadership qualities.

On this occasion, State Higher Education Council official Krishnaveni, Arts College Principal Ramachandra R. K., ICDS PD T. Sridevi, and others participated.
