The opposition YSRCP has intensified its political attack on the ruling TDP alliance. It has launched a new program called ‘Digital Book’ to record illegal cases and harassment being filed against its party workers across the state. YSRCP chief and former CM YS Jagan launched this digital book at the party’s central office on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he assured the workers that after coming back to power, all these complaints will be investigated and those who have done injustice will not be left behind, wherever they are.

This seems to be a response to the ‘Red Book’ mentioned by Minister Nara Lokesh during the last election campaign. “Today it may be a red book, in the coming days it will be a digital book,” Jagan commented. It is known that Lokesh had warned that he had written the names of officials who targeted TDP leaders during his government in the Red Book and that action would be taken against them once the alliance came to power. YSRCP leaders have been alleging for some time that the alliance government is implementing the ‘Red Book Constitution’ in the state.

Jagan said that those who have been harassed can register their complaints on the digitalbook.weysrcp.com portal or by calling the IVRS number 040-49171718. He clarified that if any official harasses them, the relevant evidence can also be uploaded on the app.

Speaking at a large-scale meeting of the party on this occasion, Jagan said that there has been strong opposition among the people within the 15 months of the alliance’s rule.

He alleged that people from all sections have been cheated and that corruption and nepotism have increased. He criticized the disappearance of super six guarantees such as unemployment allowance, women’s funds, and pensions for women under 50 years.

They complained that while Rs.7,800 crore was spent on price stabilization during their government’s tenure, now even the minimum support price is not being reached by the farmers and that middlemen are profiting from the shortage of urea. MLAs, MLCs, coordinators of Parliament and Assembly constituencies participated in this meeting.
