The state Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan has given instructions to the Kakinada district administration to manage the queue lines so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.

In the wake of the increase in the crowd of devotees at the famous temples during the holy month of Kartik, the state Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan has made it clear that the administration should pay special attention to the safety and provision of facilities for the devotees in the famous temples in the Kakinada district.

Appropriate measures should be taken regarding queue management, sanitation and security issues. The District Collector and SCs were instructed to take precautions to ensure that devotees do not face any inconvenience anywhere.

In Kakinada district, there is a high rush of devotees during the Karthika month in many major temples including the famous Shaiva temples of Samarlakota Kumara Bheemeswara Swamy Temple, Pithapuram Sri Pada Gaya, Annavaram Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy Temple.

It was clarified that arrangements should be made in advance keeping this in mind. On Monday afternoon, the Kakinada District Collector, SP and district officials of various departments were given directions on the arrangements in the holy places and temples. Pawan Kalyan said, “In the wake of the Kashi Bugga incident, the Endowment Department should take appropriate precautions near the temples.

The Endowment Department officials should prepare a report on how many temples are under the management of private individuals and organizations, along with famous temples, and submit it to the District Collector and SP immediately. There should also be monitoring of the congestion there.

Since Kartik Purnima falls on the 5th of this month, the congestion on that day and the following day should be estimated. Especially on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, the number of devotees increases unexpectedly. Endowment, police, Panchayat Raj, Municipal and Revenue departments should coordinate arrangements so that devotees visiting the temples do not face any inconvenience.

Queue lines should be maintained in the temple premises according to the crowd of devotees. A continuous monitoring system with CCTV cameras should be set up on the queue lines and in the vicinity of the temple. Temporary toilets should be set up according to the crowd of devotees and sanitation should be maintained by the local The machinery of the institutions should be taken up. RTC buses should be run according to the rush of devotees.

During rush hours, appropriate measures should be taken to regulate the traffic of vehicles on the national highways passing through the respective temples and to avoid accidents. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has ordered the Devadaya and Police departments to set up medical camps near the temples during the days when there is a lot of rush.
