AMARAVATI: Pushkaras is a matter of state prestige and it is everyone’s responsibility to organize them without any flaws. Minister for Endowment Anam Ramanarayana Reddy ,said that in view of the arrival of about 10 crore devotees from home and abroad, comprehensive infrastructure facilities will be provided.

He said that these Pushkaras will be organized successfully with the cooperation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He said that Godavari Pushkaras will be organized from June 26 to July 7.

East Godavari District,  Ramanarayana Reddy said that the work to be undertaken on the occasion of Godavari Pushkaras- 2027 has started today.

On Sunday, the minister, along with MP Daggubati Purandhareshwari, MLA Adireddy Srinivas, MLC Somu Veerraju and others, participated in the foundation stone laying and groundwork ceremonies for various development works to be undertaken under Phase 1 of the Endowment Department in Rajahmundry city with a cost of Rs. 9.55 crore.

On the occasion of Godavari Pushkaramulu- 2027, as part of the development programs undertaken under the Endowment Department in East Godavari district, the foundation stone for the new construction works of 6 endowment institutions in Rajahmundry city under Phase 1 was laid.

In the program, Rajahmundry BJP MP, Daggubati Purandhareshwari, TDP City MLA Adireddy Srinivas, MLC Somu Veerraju and others made appropriate suggestions on the Pushkara arrangements.

State Endowment Department Commissioner K. Ramachandra Mohan, Regional Joint Commissioner V. Trinadha Rao, Kakinada DC Ramash Babu, and other senior officials participated.
