AMARAVATI: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has ordered the police officials to immediately arrest the accused in the incident where a stranger attempted to rape a government employee in Macharla town in Andhra Pradesh.
Officials said that a stranger entered the house of the woman, who works as an office subordinate in the Panchayat Raj department, and attempted to rape her.
The accused was ordered to be arrested and punished severely. Officials explained that a case was registered immediately after receiving the complaint and the victim was shifted to Guntur GGH for a medical examination.
Police officials informed the Chief Minister that special teams have been formed to arrest the accused under the leadership of an Additional SP.

They explained that some suspects have been detained in connection with the incident. The CM ordered that strict action be taken against the accused and that those who commit crimes against women will not be ignored under any circumstances.
