On the directions of Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu and under the guidance of Municipal Administration Minister Ponguru Narayana, Principal Secretary Shri S. Suresh Kumar, under the supervision of Principal Secretary i S. Suresh Kumar, “One Family One Entrepreneur” initiative is being successfully implemented by the LHP Cell under MEPMA.

As part of this initiative, Smt. Y. Madhuri, a member of Sri Sai Krishna Self Help Group from Mangalagiri, applied for a PMFME loan through the LHP Cell with the support of MEPMA to expand her ghee production unit.

The officials of State Bank of India, Undavalli branch have sanctioned a loan of ₹1.25 crore (Rupees One Crore Twenty Five Lakhs). This is the highest value PMFME loan sanctioned to a woman SHG member in the joint Andhra-Telangana region. Currently, 10 SHG members are working in her unit. Smt. Madhuri expressed her commitment to further expand the unit with the aim of increasing production capacity and creating more employment opportunities.

Led by MEPMA Mission Director Shri N. Tej Bharat, State Bank officials today handed over a loan cheque of ₹1.25 crore to Smt. Madhuri at the MEPMA headquarters.

Later, the Central Bank of India, Mangalagiri Branch, handed over PMFME loan cheques of ₹3.5 lakh to Smt. Gowri SHG member Smt. Gowri of Mangalagiri and PMFME loan cheques of ₹2.5 lakh to Smt. Madhavi.

She expressed her gratitude to Mangalagiri MLA Shri Nara Lokesh, Municipal Commissioner Sheikh Aleem Basha for their cooperation and the MEPMA staff.

Speaking on the occasion, Mission Director, MEPMA encouraged women who want to start such enterprises to apply through the LHP Cell portal.

He stressed that the scheme is providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to women entrepreneurs.
