Maoists are being chased and shot dead in the forests and are shifting to the plains. Most of them have come to Vijayawada from Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh.

More than thirty Maoists have taken shelter in a building under construction in Autonagar in Vijayawada. All of them were identified and arrested by the police. Weapons were seized from them. It is suspected that they came with a plan to kill a prominent leader in AP and make their presence strong.

Maoist top leader Hidma was encountered in the forests of Alluri district in the morning.. Information about them came out. They were immediately arrested. Not only in Vijayawada.. they were found to have taken shelter in many places in AP.

Two were also arrested in Kakinada. Most of those arrested work as security for top Maoist leader Dev Ji. And the whereabouts of Dev Ji is yet to be known. With the Hidma encounter, all the hopes of the Maoists seem to have been dashed.

All those caught in Vijayawada are from the Madvi Hidma force, AP Intelligence Chief Ladha has revealed. He said that more information will be collected from them and the escaped Maoists will be caught. As per Amit Shah’s promise to eliminate the Maoists by March 31, all the top leaders are being eliminated.

The rest are also being promoted as having surrendered. However, without anyone suspecting anything, the fact that they came to Vijayawada and took shelter is surprising everyone. Who gave them shelter there… who helped them is yet to be known.
