Amaravati: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to get to the bottom of the fire incidents occurring in the capital city of Amaravati. The CM ordered an investigation to determine whether the series of fire accidents occurring since the formation of the coalition government are genuine accidents or if there is a conspiracy angle behind them.
Observing the sequence of these incidents and the manner in which they are unfolding, the CM noted that suspicions of a conspiracy are arising; he therefore directed officials to conduct a deeper inquiry into the matter from every possible angle. He emphasized that, by taking into account certain past incidents alongside the accidents currently occurring in the capital region, officials must analyze the possibility of a conspiracy and bring the facts to light.
CM Chandrababu held a review meeting in his chamber at the Secretariat regarding the incident in Rayapudi, where pipes belonging to a construction firm were gutted by fire last night near the HOD Towers construction site. Present at the meeting were DGP Harish Kumar Gupta, Guntur SP Vakul Jindal, and Intelligence Chief Mahesh Kumar Laddha.
He inquired about the specific reasons that allowed the flames to spread so rapidly at the accident site. The CM instructed the officials to identify the root causes of the incident through forensic analysis. Install CCTV Cameras… Increase Patrolling
Large-scale construction activities are currently underway in the capital city. Materials worth crores of rupees have been stockpiled across the capital region. Work is progressing at a rapid pace; at such a critical juncture, any untoward incidents could create unnecessary hurdles.
Against this backdrop, there is an urgent need to implement robust security measures. Additional patrolling must be conducted throughout the capital region, particularly in areas where construction work is in progress. Every construction firm must mandatorily install CCTV cameras within the yards where they store their materials. Furthermore, private security personnel should be deployed at these material storage depots. It was suggested that security in these specific areas also be monitored using drone cameras.
Construction firms must focus not only on establishing adequate security at material storage yards but also on actively implementing comprehensive security protocols. Additionally, surveillance must be maintained over the movements of suspicious individuals, and their comings and goings closely observed. “If any suspicious persons are identified, they must be questioned,” the Chief Minister directed.

CM Chandrababu issued strict orders that if it is discovered that anyone is attempting to create unrest through a series of incidents, they must not be spared under any circumstances; instead, severe punitive action must be taken against them.
