A tiger has been sighted in Bhupalapatnam, Rajanagaram constituency, Andhra Pradesh. It attacked cattle this morning. The district collector has warned the local residents to be vigilant and stay safely at home.

In Bhupalapatnam village of Rajanagaram constituency in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, a tiger attacked and killed cattle early this morning.
Following confirmation of the incident, District Collector Kirti Chekuri issued warnings to the local residents to be vigilant.
Students, children, and the elderly should not venture out of their homes unless absolutely necessary. They should avoid going alone to fields, orchards, and forest areas. If any tiger movements or suspicious signs are observed, the forest/police officials should be informed immediately.
Schools in the surrounding areas have been declared closed.
Currently, tiger movements have been detected in the Errampalem area. Three calves have died. It appears that the tiger is still in this area. People are advised not to go to the areas where the tiger is roaming.

They should stay safely at home and should not provoke or cause any harm to the tiger.
The Collector stated that the Forest Department and other government agencies are on high alert.
