With the aim of increasing awareness among students about the legislative assemblies, it has been decided, as per the orders of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu, that students from schools, colleges and other educational institutions in the state will be allowed to watch the proceedings of the Assembly live from the visitors’ gallery of the Legislative Assembly.
Interested Headmasters/Principals of the respective schools and colleges can send an official request letter with the list of students they want to send for the visit to e-2 legis.passes@gmail.com. The official request letter with the signatures and stamps of the Headmasters/Principals, along with the list of details including the name, Aadhaar number etc. should be scanned and sent through e-mail. Each batch will be allowed to watch the proceedings of the Assembly for up to 45 minutes.
