AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh TDP President Palla Srinivas Rao stated that the previous rulers under Jagan Reddy’s administration engaged in corruption, oppression, and gangster rule from beginning to end, and that they did not even spare Lord Venkateswara Swamy the revered deity of Hindus.

He said that strict action would be taken against those involved in the adulteration of the sacred Tirumala laddu, and that crores of rupees were looted by adulterating the ghee used in the laddu. He added that in this matter, the faith of the devotees was undermined for illicit financial gain.
He stated that this is not merely a financial irregularity but a direct attack on Hindu sentiments.

He emphasized that protecting the sanctity of the Tirumala prasadam is a collective responsibility, and most importantly, the responsibility of those in power. Srinivas Rao said that this issue would be discussed extensively in the Assembly, and that everyone who hurt the sentiments of Hindus would face strict legal consequences.

The desecration of the sacred prasadam of Lord Venkateswara, who is worshipped by millions as the deity of the Kali Yuga, is a very heinous incident under the YSRCP regime, and it is one of the most shameful acts, he said. He stated that there is complete evidence of adulteration through NDDB reports and laboratory reports.
He mentioned that approximately 20 crore laddu were made using nearly 68 lakh kilograms of adulterated ghee.

He clarified that with 70,000 to 80,000 devotees visiting Tirumala every day, the desecration of this globally recognized sacred prasadam will remain a permanent and horrific incident in history.
Srinivas demanded that strict action be taken against all those responsible in this corruption case, regardless of their position.

Speaking on the Union Budget, Srinivas Rao said:

The allocation of over Rs. 12 lakh crore for infrastructure development is a testament to the Central Government’s clear vision and commitment to laying a strong foundation for economic expansion.

He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and the Central Government for formulating this historic budget. He also acknowledged the contribution of the coalition government partners in the country’s development. They praised it.
