Allocate an additional Rs. 5,000 crore under SASK for various development works in Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu requested the Union Finance Minister during his visit to Delhi.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who went to Delhi, met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday.
The Chief Minister requested the Union Finance Minister to provide financial assistance for various development projects being undertaken in the state.
He said that so far, Andhra Pradesh has received Rs. 2,010 crore under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme. He submitted a request for an additional Rs. 5,000 crore for pending capital projects in the state.
Also, the request stated that appropriate orders should be given on the proposals sent by the state government for the release of Rs. 250 crore as per the guidelines of the Single Nodal Agency (SNA Sparsh) incentive scheme for the financial year 2024-25.

The Chief Minister said that he welcomed the Purvodaya scheme announced by the Centre for the comprehensive development of the eastern states…and said that Andhra Pradesh can benefit from this scheme. The Chief Minister asked that the modalities be formulated and this scheme be implemented soon.
