Rs. 250 Crores Released to Polavaram R&R Displaced Persons on the Occasion of Ugadi Festival…

AMARAVATI: Polavaram MLA Chirri Balaraju stated that the State Government’s release of Rs. 250 crores in funds to persons displaced by the Polavaram Project R&R (Rehabilitation and Resettlement) program, on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi, is a commendable initiative.

During an event held in Mangalagiri on Wednesday, a cheque worth Rs. 250 crores was handed over to the Polavaram R&R displaced persons at the hands of Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu. MLA Chirri Balaraju participated in this event and lauded the sincerity demonstrated by the government towards the displaced persons.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA remarked that the Coalition Government is fulfilling the promises made to the displaced persons one by one, and is working with a firm commitment to resolve their issues. He noted that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the rehabilitation activities related to the Polavaram Project are proceeding at a rapid pace.

He further stated that the government has prioritized the welfare of the displaced persons and is taking proactive measures to ensure that necessary amenities and financial assistance reach them in a timely manner. The MLA expressed optimism that the release of these funds would provide significant relief to the displaced persons.
