Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who met separately with representatives of companies like Capitalland Investment (India), Mandai Wildlife Group, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Temasek Holdings, said that there is a possibility of setting up IT parks and work stations with plug and play facilities in cities like Amaravati, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati.
As part of the fourth day of the Singapore visit, CapitaLand Investment (India) representatives Sanjeev Dasgupta and Gaurishankar Nagabhushanam held discussions on real estate projects, industrial parks, data centers, green buildings, and digital townships. After the discussions, the representatives of CapitaLand Investment (India) said that AP will be considered as a priority state for their company’s investments.
Mike Barclay, representative of Mandai Wildlife Group, spoke on issues such as wildlife parks, eco-tourism, biodiversity complexes, and establishment of wildlife experience zones, and Barclay’s willingness to invest in the state in those sectors.
Discussions were held with Rajiv Kannan, Managing Executive Officer of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation-SMBC of Japan, on investments in sectors such as industries, infrastructure, green energy and urban development, and the SMBC representative on the necessary financial partnership in various projects.
Rajiv Kannan, SMBC representative, explained to Chandrababu that they are interested in sectors such as finance, infra project lending and clean energy financing. After discussing with Dinesh Khanna, representative of Temasek Holdings, on issues such as green energy, food processing, healthcare, technology and sustainable infrastructure, Dinesh Khanna said that his company is ready to expand investments in various sectors.

Dinesh Khanna also assured that they will consider signing MoUs on the issue of investing in various sectors in Andhra Pradesh.
