The CID police have registered a case against former Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy in the attack on the Telugu Desam Party headquarters. The CID police have included his name as the 127th accused in this attack case. During the previous YSRCP government, i.e. on October 19, 2021, YSRCP anarchists attacked the TDP headquarters in Mangalagiri.
After the coalition government came to power, the attack case was handed over to the CID. It is reported that the attack was planned on the orders of YCP leaders led by MLCs Lella Appireddy, Talashila Raghuram, former Bapatla MP Nandigam Suresh, and Vijayawada East YCP in-charge Devineni Avinash. Hundreds of YCP leaders, rowdy sheeters, and many women participated in the attack. The mob broke down the main gate of the TDP office and entered inside, indiscriminately attacked the office staff and attempted to murder them.

They destroyed glasses, cars, and equipment with sticks, rods, and stones. They created havoc in the party office for more than half an hour. Later, they all fled. A complaint was filed with the Mangalagiri police about the attack. But since the YCP government was in power, this case was put aside. In addition, the police also registered SC and ST atrocity cases against key TDP leaders.
