A massive explosion took place at a fireworks manufacturing plant in Rayavaram, Konaseema district of Andhra Pradesh. Six people died and four were seriously injured. The police have shifted the victims to the hospital.
State Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, deeply shocked by the tragedy, has ordered all possible help for the victims.

A huge explosion took place at a fireworks manufacturing plant in Rayavaram village of Konaseema district of Andhra Pradesh today, killing six people and injuring four others, said Ramachandrapuram DSP Raghuveera. Immediately after the accident, police personnel rushed to the blast site and started rescue operations.
Dr. BR Ambedkar Konaseema district explosion occurred at a fireworks manufacturing plant near Rayavaram in resulting in a large-scale fire. Six people died on the spot after being caught in the fire. Four others were seriously injured in the incident. However, the death toll is likely to rise. Meanwhile, fire brigade personnel and police reached the spot and took up rescue operations.
State Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep shock over the incident.
The Chief Minister, who spoke to the officials about the fire incident,
after learning about the causes of the accident, current situation, relief measures and medical assistance from the officials, gave instructions to the officials to personally go to the scene of the incident and participate in the relief measures.
Home Minister Anita said that the affected families will be supported in every way. The Home Minister instructed the officials to expedite the relief measures and the officials informed the Home Minister that the fire had been brought under control.
The state All coalition ministers also expressed deep sorrow over the accident.
