BHARATH:NEWS :SECUNDABAD: Mass Awareness Campaign on Cleanliness
“Swachhta Pakhwada” Concludes
Secunderabad division has conducted large scale mass awareness campaign on cleanliness of Railway premises and Trains ‘Swachhata Pakhwada-2024’ from 1st Oct 2024 to 15th Oct 2024. As part of the program the Secunderabad division organized several day wise activities, such as Mass Swachhata Pledge and Swachha Awareness on 01st Oct 2024, Celebration of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti & Swachh Bharat Diwas on 2nd Oct 2024, Swachh Stations (Clean Stations) in Major Stations on 03rd Oct 2024, Swachh Railgaadi (Clean Trains) on 04th Oct 2024 & 05th Oct 2024, Swachh Patri (Clean Tracks) on 07th Oct 2024, Swachh Parisar (Clean Work Place & Clean Residential Premises) on 08th Oct, 2024, Swachh Aahar (Clean Food) on 09th Oct 2024 & 10th Oct 2024, Swachh Neer (Clean Water) on 11th Oct 2024, Swachh Prasadhan & Swachh Environment on 12th Oct 2024, Swachh Competition on 13th Oct 2024, No to Single Use Plastic on 14th Oct 2024 and program concluded with Review / Briefing and Swachh Awareness Rally on 15th Oct 2024 in Railway premises, in coordination and participation of Social Service Organizations, Railway Passengers and Railway Officers etc.,
Earlier, Division has organized Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 program from 17th Sep, 2024 to 02nd Oct, 2024. All the Brach officers and staff were involved in this program by completing 687 Cleanliness Target Units, 496 Events of Swachhata Mein Jan Bhagidari which includes Shramadan, Swachhata Pledge, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, Human Chains, Swachh Food Streets, Swahhata Chaupal, Door to Door Awareness, Walkathon, Public Workshops, Youth Connect, Waste to Art, Selfie Points & Nukkad Nataks and 23 Events of Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivirs has been organized and falicitated Safai Mitras on 02nd Oct 2024.
During the Pakhwada period efforts were made to ensure visible & tangible improvement in cleanliness at all the Railway premises. Efforts were also made to improve awareness among the Rail users on ‘Anti Littering Penalties’ in Railway Premises and tireless efforts by Railways to keep the Railway Premises clean & hygiene. Shri Bhartesh Kumar Jain, DRM has complemented all the participates for making the program successful and advised to continue the same tempo in maintaining the clean and green environment throughout the year for a healthy and better India.
