The central government has introduced a key policy aimed at providing better facilities to the motorists along the national highways. It has introduced ‘Humsafar Policy’, providing clean toilets, baby care rooms and more facilities.
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari launched this policy on Tuesday. On the occasion, Gadkari said that the Humsafar brand will provide world-class facilities on the country’s highway network.
He expressed confidence that the passengers and drivers will be provided maximum security. On the occasion, he spoke about the need to provide quality and standardized services along national highways. He said the Modi government is committed to providing the highest level of facilities across the highway network.
