General Secretary of Andhra Pradesh Journalists Union for Print and Electronic (APJU) and All India Newspaper Employees Federation (AINEF, New Delhi) on the appointment of a person who has nothing to do with the state as National Media Adviser while many intellectuals are senior journalists in the press sector in Andhra State. Senior Vice President Chaladi Purnachandra Rao asked the NDA government in a statement to carry out a thorough investigation.
Also, the two APROs who were appointed as Jagan’s assistants should be appointed as other staff and keep them in Hyderabad to find out what has been achieved, and the government should declare the cost given to them.
Purnachandra Rao questioned that it was already announced in the news that the announcements given to the press in a period of five years were more than 800 crores, and what action was taken by the NDA coalition government against those responsible for the irregularities caused by these.
The then government said that there was a lack of funds for small and medium-sized newspapers belonging to the state, not only did the two newspapers give 40,50 thousand advertisements to the non-state newspapers, but it was known that more than one lakh advertisements were given to each of them on special days.
Poorna Chandra Rao stated that the State Information Department should create a new G.O without comparing the previous G.Os prepared for accreditations for the coming year.he added in a statement.
