East Godavari district Kovvur RDO Rani Sushmita said that “Godavari Maha Neerajanam Mahaharati” program will be organized on the evening of November 4 as part of the Mahaharati festival of the holy Godavari river at Kovvuru Gospada Kshetra.
Regarding, Muppidi Venkateswara Rao, MLA and RDO, Kovvur launched the Godavari Harati invitations on Friday.in Kovvuru RDO office Andhra Pradesh.
On this occasion, the RDO said that efforts should be made to ensure that the arrangements allocated by the departments are carried out in coordination with the authorities.
Mainly the Municipal Corporation and Police officials should not cause any inconvenience to the devotees coming from different areas to Godavari Aarti. Officers were ordered to see.Drinking water and sanitation should be maintained properly.
About ten thousand devotees will come to watch the Harathi program, and in this regard, the officials of Fisheries, Electricity, Fire, Irrigation, Police, Endowments,and other departments have been ordered to complete the arrangements assigned to the respective departments.
She said that for the Godavari Aarti held in the Goshpada three plants are being arranged by the Irrigation Department. She said that the officials should work in coordination and make it successful.
On November 4, Godavari Aarti program will be conducted at Goshpada Kshetra on the bank of the holy Godavari river under the auspices of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Dasa Sahitya Project.
On this occasion, the members of the Kovvur assembly, Muppidi Venkateswara Rao spoke and said that with the divine blessings of Lord Venkateswara Swami, Godavari Harati has been organized 15 times so far, and now it is being organized for the 16th time.
He said that cultural programs will be followed by Ganamrita programs with Swami’s bhajan team, along with the divine marriage of Kalyana Venkateshwara Swami and Harati program to Godaramma. He said.
