State Civil Supplies Minister N. Manohar has warned businessmen that if they sell substandard products to consumers in Andhra Pradesh, If anyone deviated the instructions the Government will take strict action .

On Friday, the minister made a surprise inspection of farmer’s markets in Vijayawada city.

Different types of business shops and vegetable shops were inspected by themselves. Boards indicating the prices have been set up at the shops in the farmer’s markets. The quality of onions and tomatoes sold to the public has been checked and it has been clarified that they will not be ignored if poor quality products are sold.to consumers.

As 49 crore families in the state are provided with ration cards, cooking oil will be supplied to them at subsidized prices.
Palm oil should be sold at Rs.110 per liter and sunflower oil at Rs.124 per liter. Similarly, notices should be set up for the sale of cooking oil, onion and tomato.

The minister advised the businessmen that quality goods should be sold at the same rate and in the same manner in all the districts of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Minister Manohar declared that if the government’s orders are not taken into account, the measures will be taken strictly,Minister Manohar said.
