Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the state finance department. In the context of the financial year ending in another week, the situation in the finance department was discussed. He reviewed the centrally sponsored schemes and funds due from the center with the officials.
He suggested that necessary steps be taken to get the funds due from the respective departments of the center. The CM instructed the officials to provide the necessary comprehensive information regarding the central schemes and ensure that the funds are released on time.
Officials said that funds from 5 departments are due for central schemes. He said that the funds should be obtained by the end of the financial year after consultation with the center.
Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, Finance Secretary Ronald Ross attended this review.
State Chief Secretary Vijayanand, Principal Secretary Finance Piyush Kumar, CMO officials participated.
