The government has started making arrangements for the Pushkarams  which is held once every 12 years.
The time has come for Godavari Pushkarams, which are considered sacred by crores of people.  Godavari will flock to Pushkaram from all over the country.  The government, local leaders and the administration have become alert.  Preparatory action is being prepared.   There are many special features in the management of Godavari pushkarams this time.

2027 from July 23 to August 3 has been decided to conduct the Godavari Pushkarams.?   It is estimated that 8 crore devotees will come for Pushkara this time.  With this, the authorities have prepared proposals worth Rs. 904 crores for the development of Pushkara Ghats in Godavari districts.  Despite more time, public representatives and officials have already entered the field.

Akhanda Godavari Pushkaralu-2027 draft action plan has also been prepared.  It will be promoted that everyone can take a bath anywhere in the Godavari river without the need to take a bath at the same ghat.  It is estimated that 75,11,616 people will visit the existing 17 ghats every day.

Four more new Ghats are expected to be required.  A budget of Rs.904 crores has been proposed for the development of Godavari ghats under Yatri kula Basa in Rajamahendravaram.   It is estimated that a huge amount will be spent for the development of roads, development of bridges, beautification of Rajahmundry city and iconic tourism site project

It has been decided to take the district as a unit for the Godavari Pushkarams and take up the works on a permanent basis.

A comprehensive development action plan will be prepared for Godavari Pushkarams with a vision for 2047, keeping in mind traffic control and other aspects so that the devotees coming to Pushkarasm do not face any difficulties.
