When the family approached his wife to commit suicide due to high debts, she did not agree. He decided to kill both the children and commit suicide.
As part of this, on the 17th of this month, Pilli Raju went to the Ramachandrapuram Bashyam School and left with his daughter Karunya and son Rama Sandeep on a scooter.
Ramachandrapuram mandal’s Nelaparthipadu Ganapathi Nagar lock reached the canal and pushed two children into the canal and escaped . As a result, daughter Karunya died while son Rama Sandeep swam to safety.
For the last three days, both the police and family members have been intensively searching for Pilli Raju. In this context, the scooty belonging to Pilli Raju was found at Balayogi bridge.
The Ramachandrapuram police reached here and formed four teams and started searching for Raju’s dead body in Godavari.
